For fully insured employer group plan members, pre-authorization is waived beginning on December 23, 2020 through February 21, 2021 for scheduled inpatient surgeries, inpatient mental health services, hospital admissions, inpatient rehabilitation, in-network home health care services following an inpatient hospital stay; and pre-authorization is waived for transfers between hospitals.
Please note: Pre-authorization will continue to be required for non-emergency air transport.
